tusk
When podcaster Wallace Bryton goes missing in the backwoods of Manitoba while interviewing a mysterious seafarer named Howard Howe, his best friend Teddy and girlfriend Allison team with an ex-cop to look for him.
Bizarre, twisted and unforgettable. Kevin Smith's Tusk is the most original horror film in years. Based on Smith's podcast, Wallace Bryton, played by Justin Long, host of the popular podcast, The Not-See Party, where he and his co-host Teddy Craft, played by Haley Joel Osment, mock humiliating viral videos. Wallace announces on the podcast that he will be flying to Manitoba, Canada to interview famous internet celebrity the Kill Bill Kid. He arrives at Manitoba to find that the Kill Bill Kid has committed suicide. Wallace finds a letter from walrus enthusiast Howard Howe, played by Michael Parks, wanting someone to tell his life stories to. Wallace arriving at Howard's home for the interview, Howard drugs and kidnaps Wallace and turns him into a walrus. There's nothing quite like Tusk, a disturbing, ridiculous and very entertaining horror-comedy. Great performances from Justin Long and Michael Parks. Wallace's grotesque transformation into a disfigured human walrus sticks with you.
