The Amazing Spider-Man
Peter Parker finds a clue that might help him understand why his parents disappeared when he was young. His path puts him on a collision course with Dr. Curt Connors, his father's former partner.
The Amazing Spider-Man is a really enjoyable superhero movie even though It doesn't surpass The Avengers and probably The Dark Knight Rises. The cast did an excellent job as their roles. Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone were both great as Peter Parker and Gwen Stacey. The first half is more dramatic about how Peter's parents left him with Aunt May and Uncle Ben. There's a darker, more serious tone than Sam Raimi's trilogy, but not Nolan Batman dark. It truly is amazing when the action-packed scenes with Spider-Man swinging off buildings and battling Lizard on top of Oscorp Industries come into the story. In my opinion, we didn't really need another origin story, but I still highly recommend The Amazing Spider-Man. This is one of my favourite action movies of 2012.
