50/50
Adam is a 27-year-old man. He doesn't smoke, he doesn't drink. But one day when he visits the doctor, Adam find he has cancer and a 50/50 chance of surviving.
Being a movie about cancer, you would expect something depressing, but 50/50 is a good-hearted dramedy with smart and hilarious dialogue. First, the cast is excellent. Joseph Gordon-Levitt has yet again amazed me giving one of the best performances of the year. Seth Rogen can either be really funny or really obnoxious. In this, he has all the laughs and plays a good friend. I like Anna Kendrick a lot as Adam's psychologist. Bryce Dallas Howard is alway great at playing a really big b*tch. It made me laugh, cry, and care for the characters. This deserves a nomination for Best Picture and Best Actor, Joseph Gordon-Levitt. 50/50 is flawless.
