The Grey
After their plane crashes in Alaska, seven oil workers are led by a skilled huntsman to survival, but a pack of merciless wolves haunts their every step.
This is not the movie you see in the trailer. Instead of being an action-packed, Liam Neeson battling wolfs movie, The Grey is more like a dramatic survival story. I liked It a lot. Probably the best plane crash scene I've ever seen. And the sound used is just incredible. It balances the drama out with thrilling, sometimes scary moments with the group trying to survive whatever that can kill them. Also featuring some pretty gruesome wolf attacks. Liam Neeson is great playing the a** kicking "do what I say or I'll beat the sh*t out of you" guy. My one problem with the movie was the most bullsh*t ending ever. Shown in the trailer, Liam Neeson tapes smashed glass bottles to his fist and holding a knife in the other hand, then charges at the alpha wolf. Just when you start to go "oh yeah, It's on now", the screen blacks out, the credit come on and you never get to see that fight. It makes sad to knock one star off a movie with five star potential, but that ending. Still, The Grey is one of the best movies I've seen this year so far.
